For the Westfield Historical Society’s First Wednesday Luncheon series guests are welcome to a luncheon at Echo Lake Country Club on Wednesday, October 7, beginning with check-in at 11:45am (usually ends @2:15).

Most people have learned the history of American Patriot Paul Revere not through history books, but through the words of a poem written almost a century later.

Presenter Meg Wastie will trace the parallels between Longfellow's not-quiet-accurate "The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere" and the real history of Paul Revere.
